Laying the foundation

As a teenager, hormone levels are dramatically shifting, creating symptoms such as mood changes, weight gain, acne, PMS, and more.

This is a crucial time as it is often a time when doctors suggest hormones to treat these symptoms.  As we know, hormones such as the birth control pill can potentially offer you relief, but it will not fix the underlying imbalance causing the symptoms.  Then many years down the road when you want to get off the hormones or would like to fall pregnant, that imbalance is still there.  These imbalances are a sign that the hormones are not functioning optimally, and now is the time to correct them.

I love working with young women to balance hormones, help them know and trust their bodies, and clarify any confusion to help them get started on the road to life-long health.

Young Women: Rebalancing Your Health

If hormone symptoms go untreated, then a variety of issues can emerge in your 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.  They begin to take root and cause more pronounced signs and symptoms.

These patterns of imbalance can take many forms:

  • PMS
  • Irregular bleeding
  • Infertility
  • PCOS
  • Endometriosis
  • Pelvic pain
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Adrenal deficiency
  • Digestive dysfunction, and more.

It is my passion to treat these conditions, because as a woman I know what it’s like to feel vibrant and healthy, but I also know how horrible it can feel when hormones are not in balance.  Together we can begin to go deeper into root causes of ill health as we re-balance your physiology and establish a strong foundation for health.
